• Account & Official Identity: Official name, email, credentials, and role assignments (e.g. Chair Umpire, Desk Official, Referee) when signing into tournament accounts.
• Tournament & Match Operations: Live court scores, game intervals, timeouts, card penalties, walkovers, and official scoresheet signatures.
• Device Identifiers: Ephemeral device IDs used strictly to grant and manage scoring leases, ensuring only one device records rallies for a match at any given time.
• Offline Local Storage: Match packages, tournament schedules, and outbox event queues stored on the device for uninterrupted offline court scoring.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To authenticate and authorize officials to enter scores for assigned tournament courts.
• To maintain real-time scoring synchronization and historical audit trails for tournament integrity.
• To publish official public scoresheets and live tournament results.
• To maintain secure device synchronization leases and prevent conflicting score inputs.

3. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. Official tournament scores and participant names are published publicly as part of official tournament records, brackets, and live scoreboards.

4. Data Retention & Security

All communications between CaptainX FieldApp and our servers are transmitted using industry-standard Transport Layer Security (TLS/HTTPS). Offline data stored locally is kept strictly within the application's sandbox. Tournament match data is retained for permanent sports records and ranking systems.

5. User Rights & Data Deletion

Users have the right to review, update, or request the deletion of their personal account information. Because tournament results represent historical sports records, match score records are preserved in accordance with governing sporting regulations.
